ERC grant ConQuEST approved!

Our ERC Starting grant ConQuEST has been approved for funding! The proposal includes fascinating ideas about using a time and/or space modulated electric field to control the emission of individual quantum dots. Its aim is to greatly expand the role of colloidal nanoparticles in the generation of quantum states of light by producing nonclassical states that cannot be created by other souces. This part of our general effort to enahnce the between inorganic chemistry and quantum science and technologies.
The grant will allow us to hire talented people that want to contribute to the fast developing realm of quantum optics and its applications towards sensing. If you’d like to join this effort, see more information here.
